Major Dog Food Problems- Disproportionate ingredients

By definition, dog food is any plant or animal material intended for consumption by dogs or other canines. Dog foods problems are created due to consumption of improper and low quality food or food fortified with chemicals. Dog’s foods generally include either meat or plant or sometimes canines. The consumption of food varies according to different types of dogs, as the ingredients are different. Presently most of the families who keep pet dogs generally rely on commercial food. Dogs are also fed by home made foods like brown rice, pasta, eggs, vegetables, bread dough and much more. Commercial dog food can be divided in to three categories depending on the water content like moist, semi moist and dry.

The amount of food to be consumed should be given according to the capacity and the category of the dog depending on the species. Before that a vetenary doctor should be consulted regarding the health so that no problem regarding food arises. Dog food problem are generally created due to degraded quality of ingredients, disproportionate chemical mixtures and poor category of food standards, which results in various problems for the dogs like skin allergies leading to cancer in future and other dog health problems.

While manufacturing the pet’s food through the procedures of exposing and extruding destroys the bacteria but unable to demolish the toxins generated by the bacteria. There are various other toxins which are not removed during the commercial food manufacturing procedure Sodium pentobarbital is a type of drug which is incorporated in the food to euthanize pets. Hormones related foods, which are required to raise the production of milk and fatten up livestock, also produce toxins, which cannot be removed from the food. Some predestined and unhygienic material used in the slaughterhouses also contains toxins, which give rise to various problems amongst the pets. Insecticides used in the pet food also produce toxins, which are harmful for dogs.

Presently grains as the dog’s foods are also fortified with chemicals like inappropriate aeration procedure and techniques of storing or using stumpy quality of grains cause several ailments as the fungi grows very quickly in them. The dog food problems generated due to toxins are diarrhea, vomiting, loss of appetite, loss of weight, lameness, or death, liver damage and many more. But precautions are taken to restrict the dog food problems.
